About Dangerous Goods Awareness Course

Total Avantgarde’s Dangerous Goods Awareness (DGA) Course is a CAAM-aligned training programme designed for flight operations personnel, helideck crew, and personnel involved in the handling or transportation of dangerous goods by air. This course provides participants with essential knowledge of dangerous goods regulations, hazard identification, classification requirements, packaging standards, and documentation procedures.


Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify and classify various categories of dangerous goods
  • Assess the risks and hazards associated with different types of dangerous goods
  • Understand packaging, marking, and labelling requirements for air transport
  • Apply safe handling procedures for dangerous goods in aviation environments
  • Understand documentation and declaration requirements for the transportation of dangerous goods by air
  • Support compliance with CAAM regulations and aviation safety standards

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon successfully completing the course.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is ideal for:

  • Helideck crews assigned to operational duties on a helideck in Malaysia
  • Personnel responsible for receiving and handling cargo in the flight operation department; e.g. Despatchers and Loaders.

One (1) Day

COURSE VALIDITY:

Two (2) years.

PRE-REQUISITES:

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
