Inspection Process

Inspections are conducted by certified inspectors with extensive offshore aviation experience. Assessments are performed against applicable standards, including:
  • ICAO Annex 14 Vol II – Heliports
  • Malaysia CAD 1406 Vol I - IV
  • Malaysia CAD 14 Vol II – Standards for Heliports
  • UK CAA CAP 437 – Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas
  • IOGP Guidelines
  • Local Regulatory Requirements and Industry Best Practices
Inspection scope includes the following:
  • Helideck and surrounding environment
  • Firefighting and rescue equipment
  • Communication and weather reporting procedures
  • Refuelling and maintenance facilities
  • Helideck crew competency and training
  • Emergency response plans and operational procedures

Clients receive a preliminary assessment upon completion of the inspection, followed by a comprehensive report within three working days detailing findings, deficiencies, recommendations, and corrective actions. Reports can be tailored to support helideck certification applications, regulatory submissions, and client-specific requirements.
