Total Avantgarde provides Helideck Friction Testing services for offshore and onshore installations, vessels, and helidecks. Testing is conducted by certified inspectors using the Micro Grip Tester, an industry-recognised friction measuring system developed by Findlay Irvine and compliant with UK CAA CAP 437 requirements.
The Micro Grip Tester uses the braked-wheel technique and incorporates controlled wet-surface testing, electronic data collection, and GPS mapping to deliver accurate and reliable friction measurements across the entire helideck surface.
