DANGEROUS GOODS AWARENESS TRAINING OBJECTIVE:
Dangerous Goods Awareness Training is designed for flight
operation personnel, as well as Helideck Crew to have a better
understanding of dangerous goods identification, the hazards
associated with each type of dangerous goods and various types
of procedures on how to handle different types of dangerous
goods.
Dangerous Goods Awareness Training will expose participants on
how to identify various types of dangerous goods. Besides
identifying, participants of the Dangerous Good Awareness
Training will be exposed to the various packing requirements of
each type of dangerous good. To complete the process, the
participants will also be exposed to documentation procedures
and requirements to be made if these items are to be transported
by air.
The Dangerous Goods Awareness Training is approved by Civil
Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
Dangerous goods training is designed for all personals who are
responsible in receiving and handling the dangerous good in the
flight operation department such as Despatchers and Loaders.
It is now mandatory for all helideck crew assigned to
operational duties on a helideck in Malaysia to undergo
Dangerous Goods Awareness training.
Dangerous Good training is also designed for Pilots who will be
required to transport the dangerous good in their aircraft.
Pilots should be able to recognized various types of dangerous
goods, correct packing requirement, documentation required and
the most important, the emergency procedure following any
emergency involving dangerous goods.
Dangerous Goods Awareness Training is a one day training.
Our Dangerous Goods trainers are experienced personnel with hands-on experience in dealing with Dangerous Goods. The trainers are either Cargo Handlers or Pilots who have been trained as trainers for Dangerous Goods training. All the trainers have attended a recognized Dangerous Goods Course organised by IATA recognized training center and are approved by CAAM to conduct the training.
