SMS In Aviation training is designed to provide training as to enable all aviation critical staffs to be aware of the important of safety management system in aviation industries. During the training the participants will be exposed to all factors effecting safety and will participate in sms in aviation safety case studies. SMS in aviation safety case study will expose the participant on how important their role in ensuring safety in their organization.
On completion of the training the participant will have a better understanding of Safety Management System in aviation (SMS In Aviation) and how to apply the knowledge in performing their day to day duties.
SMS in aviation has been made mandatory in all aviation company under the International Civil Aviation Organization. In the year 2009 International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) thru ICAO Annex 6 Document 9859 require provision of all aviation company to establish safety accountability throughout the International Civil Aviation Organization.
On 01 January 2009 Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation (MDCA) thru Department Civil Aviation Airworthiness Notice 101 (DCA AN 101) and Aeronautical Information Circular 06/2008 (AIC 06/2008) has made it mandatory for all helicopter operator in Malaysia to establish their own safety management system in their organization.
The sma in aviation training is designed to follow the International Civil Aviation Organization Doc 9859 AN/474 (ICAO Doc 9859 AN/474) Safety Management Manual (SMM) Third Edition 2013.
The training duration is three days.
The training is designed for all aviation critical staffs such as Pilots, License Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Aviation Management Staffs.
All SMS in Aviation trainers are either Pilots or Qualified Aviation Safety staffs. The trainers are qualified safety trainers who has a very wide experience in aviation safety and has attended various safety courses.
