DANGEROUS GOODS AWARENESS TRAINING OBJECTIVE:

Dangerous Goods Awareness Training is designed for flight operation personnel to have a better understanding on dangerous goods identification, the hazard associated to each type of dangerous good and various types of procedures on how to handle different types of dangerous good.

Dangerous Goods Awareness Training  will expose participants on how to identify various types of dangerous goods. Beside that, participants of the Dangerous Good Awareness Training will be exposed to the various packing requirements of each type of dangerous good. And to complete the process, the participants will also be exposed to documentation procedures and requirement to be made if these items are to be transported by air.

The dangerous goods awareness training is designed to follow the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Good Regulation and the relevant local authority requirement such as Air Navigation Orders (ANO).

DANGEROUS GOODS AWARENESS TRAINING DURATION:

 Dangerous Goods Awareness Training is a two-day course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND DANGEROUS GOODS TRAINING?:

Dangerous goods training is designated for all personals who are responsible in receiving and handling the dangerous good in the flight operation department such as Despatchers and Loaders.

Dangerous Good training is also designated for Pilots who will be required to transport the dangerous goods in their aircraft. Pilots should be able to recognize various types of dangerous goods, the correct packing requirements, the documentations required and the most importantly, the emergency procedure following any emergency involving dangerous goods.

OUR DANGEROUS GOODS TRAINING TRAINERS:

Our Dangerous Good trainers are very experienced personnel from flight operation department, who have a vast experience in handling dangerous goods. The trainer are either Helicopter Dispatchers or Pilots who have been trained as trainers for Dangerous Goods training.  All the trainers have attended a recognized Dangerous Goods Course organised by IATA recognized training center.
